In the comments, it sounds like people are scared of what this might do. They are afraid that a big bank going down in the economy is bad news. They think it will achieve nothing. Some suggest at Chase already took this into account. Any thoughts? I'm not economically savvy enough to really understand how this all works...

I buy all mine off ebay from very reputable sellers...that way when you make a profit you dont pay capital gains tax...which you would if you buy from a real metals dealer...since they have to report it to uncle sam. You just have to find the right prices, and youll end up paying a little bit over whats its current market weight it watch out though, some of those ebay listings are tricky and they sell it by the gram but only mention its a gram in small print

I see Chase and JP Morgan as a very bad evil, so the economic effects of them going down dont seem to bad compared to getting rid of them. Granted I give all this a 1% chance of working...but hey, its worth a shot
