On my walk to work yesterday, I saw that a banner was up over the closed 21st St. Gourmet to announce what is coming next - I am 99% sure it said Pure Cafe. Kind of sounds promising, right? Pure stuff should be vegan. I can't find anything online about it and I might have the wrong name but I can't go outside and check it bc I'm sick in bed. But anyway...I guess I will see it tomorrow and verify. So this is a pointless post but you know what, I'm going to post it anyway bc that's what I do.

Exciting. It would be great to have something in there that didn't suck. I live a few blocks away on Locust and have recently been lamenting how I'm always biking to the other side of CC for Black-core-grind-bird and the pope. I will keep an eye on this spot!

Ugh so this morning I made sure to walk past it, and I was wrong it's Pure Fare and I looked at the website purefare.com - looks like a Weight Watchers type thing! You track your nutrition all day, it's weird. I wonder if they even have food just to pick up without becoming involved in their whole system! Weird. And it's across from a tanning salon, so it seems like the whole block is stuff I'm not happy with. hha
