No way a striped hyena is ugly! Some of those were way off. Especially when they are in company with a blobfish!

The blobfish freaks me the hell out. I could've gone my whole life without knowing those existed. But most of those are just interesting looking and some of them are downright cute.

Aww! I knew blobfishes were going to be in there but I actually think they're sort of cute. In a slimy, blobby fishy kind of way. And I definitely don't see what's ugly about the striped hyena...

Tarsiers are not ugly! I love their giant eyes, they look like real life mogwai.

none of those were really ugly. the bat's face was confusing, and the blobfish is kinda slimy, but the rest were pretty cute. primates always seem to be adorable -- how could tarsiers not be considered cute?!

Pygmy marmosets are straight up adorable. Those people are on crack.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, its things like that, that help people put animals into boxes.... These are for petting...these are for eating...these are for laughing at on youtube..... we're told what to think of as beautiful but the pig and warthog are more intelligent than your dog ffs.... eye of the beholder anyone?

Whoever supplied the picture of the hyena is seriously mistaken; that is a great looking hyena (I don't mean to say hyenas are generally ugly, just that this one looks particular fresh and clean).
