For anyone trying to get pregnant, Amazon has really cheap pregnancy test strips. You need a cup to pee in, but they are really sensitive (I think they are what is used in doctor's offices). It was nice to be able to take as many as I wanted when I wanted and not feel like I was wasting money!
I just looked for the seller I bought from before and didn't find them, but there are a lot of cheap ones out there. Good luck!

My friend bought huge packs online too. She did literally hundreds of tests. I laughed at her at the time, then when I was trying to get pregnant, thought it was genius and was tempted to copy.

When I was trying to get pregnant with the Emperor, I bought a shiitake ton of tests for cheap off of Amazon. I think (and this was a couple of years ago now, so who knows if the same sellers are even still there) I picked up 50 for $25. And the hilarious thing is, I used them all. I had maybe 5 left by the time I got pregnant, and I used them in the first month or two after getting pregnant to calm my nerves/assure myself it was really happening.

These days I mainly pick up tests on a feeling nervous about the status of my uterus basis at the Dollar Tree.

Dollar store tests work well and the bonus is that they're only a dollar.

I wish I'd thought of that when I was first trying -- the best deal in the shops that I could find were 2 for £12!!! I used one for my first baby and the other for my second baby. I was so mad about their exhorbitant price, that I waited until my period was 2 weeks late before taking the first test and for my second kid, I actually had morning sickness BEFORE I did the pregnancy test. ;p

While I was pregnant with baby #2, I found a 2-pack of pregnancy tests at a pound shop. Will I save these for babies 3 and 4 or do away with my frugality and not wait until my period is very late to take the test? Probably the former. ;p
