I get it. Meat = murder = Christianity. Also, we're all made of meat.

That has got to be one of the grossest things I have ever seen...

On another note... While I know the majority here tend to be of other religions besides christianity... I always thought this board was supposed to be a 'safe place' for all to post and chat... There are some christians here... myself being one of them.

I always try very hard not to 'preach' to those who don't want to listen but I must say this 'religion' bashing is very offensive... I get it... you don't believe what I do.. fine... but as I don't spend my time here preaching... I would hope that people could find other things to do then bash what myself and a few others here believe.

Sorry if that comes off bisque-y... really don't intend it to.

i don't see this picture as religion bashing - more like mocking someone who decided to make a nativity scene out of bacon and sausages. if anything, whoever made this crazy meat diorama is the one being blasphemous.

Yeah, what IDJI said.... sorry if I came across as religion-bashing (definitely not my intent). I am offended that someone would make a nativity scene out of sausage and bacon. Not only for the un-veganness of it all, but it also seems like they are making fun of religion... but maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way.

No, I am bashing religion, with an emphasis on Christianity.

Ew!!!

Also, I thought we were doing away with the "safe space" stuff? I think this is a welcoming place for all people to post, but I wouldn't call it a safe space. There are a lot of different opinions about religion on this board, many of them negative. Kinda comes with the territory I think.

It wasn't the picture itself... that is just plain offensive no matter what religion you believe in... I was speaking to some of the posts.

Maybe 'safe place' isn't the right phrase I am looking for... but basically to bash someone's beliefs just isn't right IMO...

I am not talking about debating beliefs... to debate is not to bash usually.

I've never had a problem on this board... Usually enjoy myself here but considering another thread posted today... maybe I am not welcome...

I have seen many topics I don't agree with and just close the thread and leave it be... This one just struck a nerve is all...
