I'm really trying to get serious about running and increasing my endurance. The shoes I have now are good but not great, I could use a lot more support. I have a groupon for one of those super fancy running shoe places and I'm thinking of heading there in the next month or so to find the running shoes of my dream but I don't want to spend an hour triple checking if the shoes are vegan or not. So i'm coming to you guys, what are your favorite go to vegan running shoes or brands?

New Balance is my go-to. I wear the W498 for working out and I love them. You can see some vegan NB styles here: http://www.shoebuy.com/new-balance-eco- ... -shoes.htmNot sure what the best is for running, but you could also go to a fancy running shoe place and ask to try on synthetic models- they usually have a ton.

I made a thread like this recently, because I thought it would be as hard as finding office shoes. Turns out, the specialty store only had one non-vegan shoe & it wasn't an issue. Go get fitted & you'll be set.

Cool beans, the shoes I have now are New Balance Thanks Laser Ox! It's surprising to find out how many shoes are vegan. I just love it!

Feiyue martial arts shoes are like running barefoot but a lot warmer. They are so comfortable. Might be a little odd at first when you're just getting used to them; you have to adapt your gait if you're used to running in moulded trainers.
I've got some Vibram FiveFingers in the post. They should be with me next week. They're still in the post office of some faraway land...

My all time favorites are Onitsuka Tiger by Asics (Ultimate 81). They're so comfortable. Unfortunately only the ugliest color combinations are vegan. I almost cringe when I wear my mustard and red ones, but they fit so well.

I wore Asics Gel-Kayano 15's for a while because I was used to Asics but I switched to Brooks Adrenaline in August and I like them and they're lighter than the Asics. They're also cheeper at $100 vs. $130 or so. Oh and all the Brooks running shoes are vegan.

Shoes are super important. All other gear is more a matter of preference, but you can really injure yourself in bad shoes. Especially if you're a new runner. Go to a fancy runner's shoe store, have yourself fitted properly. Most importantly, only buy shoes that FEEL perfect on your foot. I've run in Asics, Brooks, MIzuno and Saucony. All are good brands. I tend to have best luck Saucony, but really that's about how my feet are built and what's right for me may not be right for you. It's very individual how shoes fit.
