I love Rear Window!!!!

Rear Window is my favourite movie!

I don't think Bogart's character was very believable as a gay book collector though. Not that The Big Sleep made much sense. Still love it.

Just watched the Belgian film "Ex Drummer" ....Holy shiitake, SO forking GOOD!!!

The Cruise...soo soo inspiring. Its about Timothy "speed" Levitch who a million kinds of amazing.

No Time For love. An old movie with Fred McMurray and Claudette Colbert. Silly, and predictable.

anyone watched Ex Drummer yet?

This is probably my third favorite of Kon's movies, though I haven't seen it in quite some time.

I haven't watched many new movies lately... But I did watch some Christmas movies and animated movies. Oooh, The Last Picture Show was pretty good.

watched Ball of Fire yesterday. A sweet silly old movie with Gary Cooper and Barbara Stanwick. I can't believe that is my first time to see Gary Cooper in a movie. He is great!

I watched The Five Pennies (Danny Kaye biopic about jazz trumpeter Red Nichols) and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I thought someone would've told Brad Pitt to never ever do that accent again, but I guess not (or he doesn't listen to good advice). I think I like Brad Pitt as a person more than an actor, because I still don't like watching him on screen.

Oh, I also watched the first part of Mesrine: Public Enemy No. 1. It was excellent. I need to watch part 2 - maybe tomorrow.

My weekend: How to Train Your Dragon (better in 3-D), New York, I Love You, and Amadeus (Tom Hulce love!)

Last night, I watched Devil. It's the only M. Night Shamaham movie I've ever seen, which seems like a pretty crummy choice on my part. My man friend pointed out that it only had about enough plot for a Twilight Zone episode, which is entirely true.

Elf, it got me in the Christmas mood.

I sat on my butt all day and watched movies yesterday:

Notting Hill - I hate Julia Roberts, but I don't hate Hugh Grant, and I felt the need to watch a rom-com.
Mary and Max - I saw "animated feature", "Toni Collette", and "Philip Seymour Hoffman". Not at all what I expected! I liked it, even if it was dark and depressing.
Penny Serenade - I sort of adore Cary Grant and had never seen this one. Cary Grant in the judge's chambers begging for his kid is so good!
Some Kind of Wonderful - I get some kind of amnesia every time I watch this, because I always remember at the end that I should have just watched Pretty in Pink.

I watched Murder by Numbers today because I was incredibly bored.

It was awful.

just watched Mystic River, I thought it kind of sucked. I can't believe this movie got such good reviews. I thought it was really melodramatic and uneven.
