When I was young and broke I used to get a box of cake mix and a can of pears, mix it all together and it made an moist amazing cake.

Now I tend to get better ingredients but I remembered this and decided to add 3 old pears to my peanut butter cookie dough. I cut off all the yuck and added the pears to about 1/4 cup soy milk and blended it to a puree. I added the puree and 1/4 cup flour to the cookie dough and mixed it. My 6 year old was going bonkers wanting to try the dough!!

they are by far the best PB cookies I ever made and my 6 year old totally agrees!

Thank you, I glued all those glass beads myself, it was very artsy and very inexpensive although time consuming.

I am so jealous of your kitchen aid mixer....

I wonder if those cookies would work with soy nut butter. I have a peanut allergy.

autumnleaves, ive never had problems subbing nutbutters- as long as the texture is similar. i wouldnt use a runny tahini but sunbutter should work.

i want to live in this pic, btw.

Thank you but you'd probably think I'm crazy the whole house is pretty much turquoise or blue, most people think I'm nuts, I'm surprised everyone likes it so much!
