This thread is no longer the "Which outfit should Gizmo wear to see Santa" thread. At the suggestion from joyfulgirl it is now the official Gizmo Photo Thread! Polls are being closed!Check back often for more photos of my little creature!

I'm pretty sure she hates me right now but here are your choices:

Oh no! I picked Santa dress NO hat, accidentally, but I meant to pick Santa dress WITH hat. But it was very hard to decide, the elf dress AND the red ho-ho-ho dress are so sweet, too!
All I know is that if you do choose the Santa one, it's gotta be with the hat! What a patient doggie for dressing up for you! :)

Also - if anyone has any guesses as to what kind of dog she might be, I'd love to hear them because I am always guessing. She was a stray that someone found, no microchip, no tags, and nobody at any of the surrounding towns pounds claimed, she was headed for a kill shelter and after I met her I coudnt let that happen. The only thing I can really see is chihuahua, but definitely not pure bred. At only 7lbs she is pretty stocky. I have no idea what kind of creature she is. For my own pleasure I would have picked Santa with Hat, however, I thought she looked happiest in the ho ho ho dress! She is so cute!

She didn't kill me last night so that's good. But I definitely just died from the cuteness of those pups! Sometimes I think she is part puggle, whatever the hell a puggle is. I guess I'll never know for sure

The elf dress gets my vote. She is so cute. I really wanted to get a Christmas outfit for my youngest cat but my bf thinks it's a waste of money.

So, I kind of got this idea that I felt was maybe a little absurd at first... I thought, maybe Gizmo is half Pekingese? I know Gizmo doesn't have a lot of Peke features, but my dogs are pekingese, and I just really felt there was this 'essence' of peke. Like, her bowed front legs, totally peke. The back of her head, so peke! Anyways. I googled the mix, it seems like the mix can have a huge amount of variety. I think I officially picked it though, check out this site: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/cheeksphotos.htm. All the dogs here are this mix, and some definitely look like Gizmo. Especially if you scroll down past the first ones (Dinky for sure shows the resemblance).

They're all so cute! I haven't been able to find a dress for my dog and she's only 50 lbs, sizist dog clothing mfr's.

I did a DNA test for Penny over the summer. They can be pricey but I was able to borrow someone's discount and got one for about 30 bucks. It was from BioPet. I didn't used to care because she's my adorable mutt but it is kind of nice to be able to tell people what kind of dog she is, besides "cute".

So we went with the Elf dress but she is so small and Santa's hands were so big they covered it completely! He had to hold her because she wanted to jump off him the whole time. I can't find my camera cord so I will post the pics as soon as it turns up(my desk is a huge mess)

I've considered DNA tests but I have heard really bad results, like someone with a clearly full bred lab(did the test just for kicks) came back with results saying they had beagle dna?!

Boychucker - did the dna test come back with results that made sense as to what she was?
