Mid-January would probably work for me, but I have exams the last week of January into the first week of February, so I would have to decide more on the short-term.

I'm in The Netherlands and I can't wait to hit a meet-up. I moved here in July, but things have been hectic since then and I haven't had a chance to visit anyone. I probably won't be making it to Paris Vegan Day since my finances are a wreck, but hopefully by January or February I should be in a better situation. I definitely want to hit The Hague for the new vegetarian butcher shop and veg Asian market.

Drat. That's about a month too soon for me. I have a week long conference in, hm, Freiburg Germany, 6-11 March. What about a Germany meetup #2 around then?
And, Dutch people: I should be living in Groningen from mid-February. Can we organize our meet-up for some time after that?

I've been saying January all along, so I'm SO in. Plus Groningen is close so I will go to anything there in February also. Lutin, I want to meet you there! (in a non-stalker way).
If we do Bremen people can stay with us. Inceptisol, yes, please come! If we do Hamburg people can still stay with us but it is about an hour on the train, so...

Awesome. Let's make it happen. :) My move depends on when the Danish university accepts my MA thesis and gives me the paper that says "I'm done! Whee!", but I'm hoping to make the move around Feb. 15.

Although Stockholm is closer, I don't really belong in the Stockholm thread, and as far as I know there's not enough Oslo, Norway people on here to have our very own thread.
Anyway, the German meetup sounds awesome, wish I could go!
But if there's a meetup in Oslo, Norway I'd definitely bee there :)
Anyone else from Southern Scandinavia? Southern Scandinavia, that's a term I never used before...

Hello y'all! I am from Duesseldorf. Northern Germany meet-ups work - I would prefer Hamburg over Bremen.

I'm ok with either. That ho(s)tel looks really neat - and cheap, too! Are there lots of vegan yummy places in Bremen? I've never been.
