The sign-up form is now open: http://www.veganmofo.com/mofo2015-sign- ... s-banners/

I'm really excited about the daily prompts and have just signed up. Anyone else signed up already?

I just signed up. I don't think I'll be able to meet all of the prompts but I already have a couple planned out so, that's an advantage on last year!

I just signed up! This is my first official year. I tried the last two years to kind of participate, but never signed up officially and always petered out near the end. I'm doing Instagram and I'm excited!

I wasn't sure if I was going to this year as I must admit, I'm not a huge fan of the daily prompt idea. However, I love MoFo and it's a different approach... so I signed up.

^ Haha Rosie, I just moved from a house with a glorious kitchen to one where there's barely room to stand two people in. My kitchen tour will be terrible!

My kitchen tour will suck too. I don't have my own kitchen at the moment and I live with 3 omnis so I doubt anyone will want to see in the fridge! Plus it's a mess.

I think that could be really interesting though - how you can utilise space efficiently in a very small kitchen!

I don't even have a fridge at the moment so it'll be....here's my rusty-ass freezer and some cupboards full of tins.

I signed up! Fiancé (gotta come up with a board name for him) and I have been trying to get our blog started for ages, plus I'm going to Instagram everything. I thought about including my Facebook information, but I don't have a separate page for cooking, and I keep my personal stuff locked down, so nobody who wasn't or didn't want to be my friend would see it anyway.

I tried MoFo a few years ago, on my first blog (veganchubosaurus, naturally), and I didn't get very far. My life is way different now, though.

I signed up for Instagram! I casually participated last year but this will be my first year actually trying to post every day. Loving the daily prompts!

I signed up. I am going to be on vacation for 2 weeks in September, but I didn't want to completely miss out on the fun. I'm starting to take some photos to go with the themes.

I signed up! I've never done it before, and my instagram account has been mostly ignored for oh, a year. But I'm gonna get my act together. I printed out the prompts and everything.

I know there will be a few I'll likely skip (I don't know how to make a new vegan friend on demand!), but I'll try to do most. I'm looking forward to it.

Is everyone just following the prompts and nothing else? I mean, are some people combining the prompts with their own theme somehow, or is that frowned on? Or is anyone planning on ignoring the prompts?

Basically, I'm not sure anyone will be interested in reading what I can come up with in response to them, if I were to just follow them as-is, and therefore I'm hesitant to sign up.

I've just signed up (my first time too) and I like the daily prompts, but that's probably because I'm a first timer and otherwise I would probably be stuck for ideas for posting every/most days.

Dropscone - I don't think there's anything wrong with combining the given prompts with your own theme (but I'm a total n00b so don't take my word for it, haha).

I'm just following the prompts without a theme, but I personally wouldn't object to/frown at anyone combining prompts with a theme or just doing a theme.

I signed up for instagram (username joyfulgirl415) I'm excited for the new format! I plan on following the prompts as much as I can (although I imagine some days when I'll be like "I didn't have time to do [whatever] so here's a yummy sandwich I ate!")

I'm thinking of signing up my tumblr and just doing some of the prompts. I wouldn't mind if folks did their own features during mofo, too. I think the prompts are there to help folks with ideas, but no one is saying you can't post more.

More vegan food is certainly in the spirit of 'mofo!

I am really loving the whole planning phase. I've got ideas for most of the prompts and have a spreadsheet where I've mapped out when to cook what and when to post it so I can work with all of the commitments that we have in September. Between birthdays (both of us and two more in our extended family!), conventions, concerts, shows, etc. not to mention work schedules that are basically opposite - we'll need it.

I'm trying as much as I can to make stuff that's new to me, but I did throw in some favorites that are just too good not to include. Googling a few of the prompts really helped (hello, traditional local dish that isn't a Garbage Plate).

Love it! Yes, as much as I love the idea of coming up with my own stuff, I think having a daily guide of prompts just works for some folks. My partner and I are trying the Abundance Diet plan not so much as a healthy/weight-loss thing (though we could eat more veggies overall), but as a meal-planning experiment. I'm a bit turned off by the weight loss promises of the book and the language that comes with that, but the meal planning bit is all very well-structured in the book. I'm thinking of just documenting that journey and doing a few of the prompts. It might end up being a promo for her book, but whatever. It's just what I happen to be doing as a vegan at the moment. We're also going to visit Ghent in Belgium one weekend, so I'm sure I'll have plenty of yummy vegan food to show for it!
