I'll count broccoli as a super food.

I'm not saying it's cool that they're pushing dairy on kids, but Sesame Street's been a vehicle for pushing whatever's been considered healthy food since like, the 80s or earlier.
Also, I want a dancing green smoothie up in that piece.

Hey kids! Did you know that if you get a bacon cheese on an enriched wheat bun from McDonald's you are eating TWO superfoods! Isn't that great? This is absolutely infuriating. And McD's and Sesame Street do have this. I guess McD's is a Sesame Street sponsor because McDonald's is committed to "educating children".

At least it's a wedge of actual cheese, and not some kind of uber-processed wrapped slice of dairy-based cheese-like substance.
There's a DVD of something like this that plays in our doctor's office sometimes. I seem to recall that it's mostly about fruits and vegetables, apples and tomatoes and things. I'll pay more attention next time we're there.

To be fair, I think the bun is supposed to be a whole wheat bun.

It's almost like a joke. Broccoli, the unobtainable super food. I will just eat pretty good food until I can be so great as to eat broccoli. Someday, Super Broccoli.

it's interesting that they give the food faces, too. as in, it's okay to eat things with faces. and look how happy they are!

Even when I did eat dairy, and thought it was good for me, I would hardly have considered it a super food!
