My camera will allow me to take pictures, but not upload them! Something wrong w/ the camera's software, apparently.

She got her nails trimmed, ears cleaned and a Capstar treatment today. Just needing to gain another 10.5 oz before she can be spayed and find a home! (I'm hoping my mom is going to adopt her. She just needs to convince my dad that it's a tremendously good idea.)

Glad to hear she's doing well! Maybe you could have your parents babysit her for a day...I doubt your dad could say no once he's seen her!

sounds like shes doing great!!! thats awesome!!

how are her eyes? if they are still getting gunky you may want to have her investigated for herpes so she can get on some lysine. 80% of cats have herpes and sometimes they aren't symptomatic but it can be problematic later.

They're clear now. We had her tested for herpes immediately because someone suspected that's what it was but the results were negative.

Kitty update: This sweet little baby is doing amazingly well! Her eyes and nose are clear, her coat is fluffy and she's almost doubled in weight since we found her. My parents have decided to adopt her! She still has one or two ounces to gain before she can be spayed but I will take her back and bring her in for surgery, after which point my parents can officially adopt her. I am thrilled that she is getting the safe, loving home she deserves!!

*My camera started working again! These pictures were taken shortly after we found her. I'll update with a photo of what she now looks like soon.

Hurrah! I love the pictures and yay for a happy ending!

We found our little guy in an abandoned lot when he was 5 weeks old, and his eyes were crusted really badly - one of them was full of pus - and he was covered in fleas. The vet gave us the right meds and his eyes were back open and he started to do really well after just a few days.

Aww, such a cute little kitty!

One of my cats has a bend/kink in the middle of his tail - I got him when he was about a year old so I have no clue what happened to him. He's pretty pissy about me touching it, but it doesn't seem to bother him at all.

Elfie was spayed today. It went well and she's resting. Since it was done through a local cat rescue, we have been watching her for the past week. Tomorrow she'll go back to her new home with my parents, who miss her like crazy. Hooray for happy endings!
